These are the essential questions to be answered before even picking up the dice. Are you an American cowboy, drifting from town to town on the strength of your gun hand and the back of a wild mustang? Are you a studious aristocrat, come across a passage in an old text alluding to ancient rites of power? Perhaps you are a Doctor, known for healing the sick and fixing the broken body. Maybe you are a man or woman of science, tinkering with the latest gadgets and mediums from steam to electricity. You might even be a wild child, raised by wolves or apes. Perhaps you are simply an accountant of mediocre skill and ambition, with a taste for the unknown, but no opportunity to find it. The possibilities are endless.
Characters in Fumus Confictura Formido begin at 3rd level. The game uses Wizards of the Coast’s d20 Modern, with the d20 Past sourcebook.
Available Advanced Classes include the following:
Martial Artist (with good reason)
Anything 1891 and earlier. Equipment from the 5 year period between 1886 and 1891 is considered to be prototypical and experimental.
